This exercise can be done in a lying or sitting position.

Hold the end of a broom handle in your right hand with your thumb pointing up toward your ear. Lift your right arm out to the side and using your left hand to help push the arm up with the broom.  Hold and repeat as advised by a Physical or Occupational Therapist at Therapy Specialists Inc.
